What genre do you write it?
Post-Apocalyptic with an emphasis on Zombies.
Does writing energize or exhaust you?
Both. It energizes me mentally, but my muscles will be a ball of knots afterward!
What are common traps for aspiring writers?
Not believing in yourself and your abilities. You can do it. Just believe.
What is your writing Kryptonite?
I procrastinate a lot. I'll wait until the last minute instead of just getting things done.
Do you want each book to stand on its own, or are you trying to build a body of work with connections between each book?
It depends on the story. Some work well in series. Others are strongest as standalones. I try for a mixture, though my work leans to series for the most part.
How did publishing your first book change your process of writing?
I plan proper launches now whereas the first book was just thrown out there with no marketing plan at all.
As a writer, what would you choose as your mascot/avatar/spirit animal?
A wolf. Loyal, faithful, and fierce.
What’s the best way to market your books?
AMS ads, a strong email list, and my Facebook Page works well for me.
How many hours a day do you write?
I work about ten hours per day of which half is spent writing.
If you didn’t write, what would you do for work? Or do you work full time?
If I didn't write, I'd be a painter. I've got the talent for it, and it calms my soul.
