About David A. Simpson
People suggests I write a little something about me but it's not that interesting. If you are reading this, it probably means you are a Zombie Road reader, maybe even a fan.
If you're reading this to try to determine whether you should take a chance and spend your hard earned cash on the book, read the reviews. They are the most honest opinions you can get, I think. Only a few of those reviewers personally know me, the rest are internet strangers and they have no reason to lie.

5.0 out of 5 start carnage Supreme! Title was So Perfect, Actually Laughed Out loud, So It Was a MUST READ!!!!
"Anyone that makes you laugh OUT LOUD with just the written word takes great talent! Add a kick ass story that's amazingly well written from the first page AND has well rounded, believable characters that you can't help but love, makes for one of the best books of this genre I have read in a very long time. Laughing out loud isn't the only thing that'll be coming out of your mouth either, so don't read around the littles and if you have a swear jar wherever you are when you read it, be prepared to owe a small fortune to it by the end of this tale extraordinaire!!! Well done D.A. Simpson!!! When's the next one due because I'm ready right now!" Format: Kindle EditionVerified Purchase.
5.0 out of 5 stars gotta love zombie killing truckers!!!
"Wow! What a story! I don’t know where this David Simpson has been hiding, I guess in a truck stop or something but he did such a bang-up job on this book! I had to check twice to make sure I had read it correctly that this was his first book! Dang! His first book at it was freakin’ phenomenal! I had heard about it when it had won the book of the month in the book club I belong to. I read the blurb and thought I would give it a shot…not knowing what to expect because I didn’t know this author and was pleasantly surprised when I started to read it. I love discovering new zombie stories and new authors and this was like finding a diamond in the rough! The Hope Diamond of diamonds! It is that good! From start to finish, the action keeps on rolling(see what I did there?…rolling) and never stops. I loved the characters which were well described and so likable and relatable. This is a must-add to anyone’s read list that loves zombies or just loves a well-written story that will keep you entertained for hours! All I can say is you won’t be disappointed!" The series details the travels of Captain Lee Harden while he attempts to enact the final fail-safe plan of the United States government following a horrific outbreak of a bacterium that leaves it's victims as violent, unreasoning shells of their former selves.
In a steel-and-lead-encased bunker 40 feet below the basement level of his house, Captain Lee Harden of the United States Army waits. On the surface, a plague ravages the planet, infecting over 90% of the populace. The bacterium burrows through the brain, destroying all signs of humanity and leaving behind little more than base, prehistoric instincts. The infected turn into hyper-aggressive predators, with an insatiable desire to kill and feed. Some day soon, Captain Harden will have to open the hatch to his bunker, and step out into this new wasteland, to complete his very simple mission: Subvenire Refectus.
